CEPC will give the best export award for the first time

Bhadohi To encourage carpet exporters, this year the 38th India Carpet Expo held in Varanasi will be awarded the Exporters Award for Outstanding Export. This scheme is being introduced to award exporters for the first time at the expo. Under this, awards will be given in total five categories.

The 38th India Carpet Expo organized by Carpet Export Promotion Council of Ministry of Textiles will be held from 11 to 14 October at Sampurnanand Sanskrit University campus in Varanasi. The fair will be inaugurated by Union Textiles Minister Smriti Zubin Irani. At the Fair, 270 exporters will set up their stalls. It is expected to have 400 foreign buyers. The Carpet Fair set up abroad offers awards in several categories, which encourages carpet entrepreneurs as well as branding of their product. Now it is believed that this will increase the enthusiasm of exporters by giving this award in Indian carpet fair. In this regard, President of Carpet Export Promotion Council, Siddhnath Singh said that awards will be given in five categories in the Fair and applications have been sought from exporters for this. The award has been given for the highest export performance, handmade woollen carpet, tufted and handloom, handmade silk and handmade woollen carpets and sagi. Exporters from Delhi, Rajasthan, Kashmir, Panipat, West Bengal, Kerala, Bhadohi, Mirzapur, Varanasi and other regions of the country participate in this fair.With this award, for the first time, people will know who has the highest export in the industry.
