After this, the District Consumer Commission has sent a letter to the DM of Bhadohi, Varanasi and New Delhi and appealed to recover the amount from the chairman.Carpet exporter SP Gupta, resident of Maryadapatti, Bhadohi, had filed a complaint in the Consumer Commission.Shwetaabh Rishi Srivastava told that in 2004, he had booked stalls by paying 45 thousand rupees for the carpet fair to be held in New Delhi.He received stall number 93 from CEPC. When he reached the fair with all the goods, someone else had set up his shop at his stall.He complained about this to the organizing committee and CEPC chairman. After this, he was given stall number 46 there. Which he did not take.He filed a petition in the commission demanding compensation. The Consumer Commission, while hearing his case, ordered to pay 4.25 lakhs to the victim for business loss and45 thousand stall fees, totaling 4.70 lakh rupees.The CEPC went to the State Consumer Commission against the order of the commission.
