Finance minister J&K assured the cepc delegates all support not only the on the GSTof but also in the future

he told all support not only in the meeting on the 6th of October but also in the future and otherwise.
Delegates headed by Chairman, CEPC mahaveer sharma briefed the Minister about the status of Handmade Carpet Industry in Kashmir and requested for his support and help to the local industry and promotion of Silk rugs from Kashmir.
Chairman also discussed the issue for setting up of Silk raw material bank and opening of CEPC ‘s office in Srinagar. Minister for Finance, Labour and Employment, Government of J&K on 2nd October, 2017 at Srinagar.
Delegates also draw the attention of the Hon’ble Minister towards the impact of GST on rugs not only from Kashmir, but across India and have discussions at length GST on Job work, on goods and interstate movement of rugs etc.
A Delegation headed by Mr. Mahavir Pratap Sharma, Chairman, CEPC consisting of Mr. Umer Hameed, 2nd Vice Chairman, Mr. Bodh Raj Malhotra & Mr. Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad, both Member Committee of Administration, CEPC along with Member-Exporters of the Council from Kashmir met Mr. Haseeb A. Drabu, Hon’ble Minister for Finance, Labour and Employment, Government of J&K on 2nd October, 2017 at Srinagar.
