Bhadohi, India, October 9, 2024 The Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC) held a meeting today under the chairmanship of Kuldeep Raj Wattal to discuss preparations for the upcoming International Carpet Fair at the Carpet Expo Mart. The meeting was attended by CEPC Administrative Committee members .The focus of the meeting was on the 47th Indian Carpet Fair to be held in Bhadohi. CEPC is committed to ensuring the success of the four-day international carpet fair, scheduled from October 15 to 18, at the Carpet Expo Mart.The CEPC chairman stated that all officials have been working diligently to make the fair a success. He also praised the exporters for their cooperation. A total of 257 exporter members are participating in the fair, and over 450 foreign buyers have registered. Committee members assured that all shortcomings identified in previous fairs have been addressed. The chairman further confirmed that the air conditioning, lifts, and fire safety systems at the Carpet Expo Mart are fully functional.Bhadohi MP Dr. Vinod Bind visited the Expo Mart and inspected the preparations. He expressed confidence that the carpet fair would provide a new direction to the industry and appreciated the efforts of the entire team. He assured that he would provide all necessary assistance from the government.
