Bhadohi: The Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC) has begun preparations for the election of its Chairman and Vice Chairman. The official notification for the election was issued on October 24, marking the first time the process will take place under the new set of rules. According to these rules, only Committee of Administration (COA) members are eligible to contest and vote. At present, the council has 18 members, from among whom the new Chairman and Vice Chairman will be elected.

As per the notification, if only one nomination is filed for any post, the candidate will be elected unopposed. However, this scenario seems unlikely, as competition within the council is expected to be intense. Sanjay Gupta has already begun campaigning and is actively preparing for the election, though it remains uncertain whether he will contest for the position of Chairman or Vice Chairman.

The group led by Wasif Ansari has emerged stronger this time with the maximum number of members in the council, which makes the election scenario even more interesting. Potential candidates from this faction include Wasif Ansari, Aslam mahboob, Mukesh Gomber, and Ravi Patodia. The current interim Chairman, Kuldeep Wattal, is also widely expected to contest.

All eyes are now on whether former Chairman Mahavir Sharma and deepak khnna will enter the electoral race. Under the revised eligibility criteria, candidates for the post of Chairman must meet a minimum turnover requirement. Observers are watching closely to see which of the 18 members qualify under this rule.

This election also sees a significant change in the voters’ list. Many names have been removed due to zero exports over and Similarly, due to many exporters not submitting their audited balance sheets on time, their names could not be included in the voters list. the past year, reducing the total number of eligible voters to around 949 down sharply from 1,746 in the previous election. With fewer voters this time, the importance of each individual vote has increased substantially

कालीन निर्यात संवर्धन परिषद के चेयरमैन-वाईस चेयरमैन चुनाव की अधिसूचना जारी, नए नियमों के तहत होगा मतदानबhadohi। कालीन निर्यात संवर्धन परिषद (CEPC) में अध्यक्ष और उपाध्यक्ष के चुनाव को लेकर तैयारी तेज हो गई है। परिषद की ओर से 24 अक्टूबर को चुनाव की अधिसूचना जारी की गई है। यह चुनाव पहली बार नए नियमों के तहत होगा। परिषद के चुनाव में केवल कमिटी ऑफ एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन (COA) के सदस्य ही भाग ले सकेंगे। परिषद में इस समय कुल 18 सदस्य हैं, जिनमें से ही चेयरमैन और वाइस चेयरमैन चुने जाएंगे।अधिसूचना के अनुसार, जिन पदों पर केवल एक नामांकन आएगा, वहां निर्विरोध चयन किया जाएगा। हालांकि, परिषद में प्रतिस्पर्धा की संभावना अधिक है। चुनावी माहौल में संजय गुप्ता ने अपनी तैयारी शुरू कर दी है और वे खुद को चुनावी दौड़ में मानकर चल रहे हैं, हालांकि अभी यह तय नहीं हुआ है कि वे अध्यक्ष पद से मैदान में उतरेंगे या उपाध्यक्ष पद के लिए।वहीं, वासिफ अंसारी गुट से सबसे अधिक सदस्य जीतकर आए हैं, जिससे चुनाव और ज्यादा दिलचस्प बन गया है। इस गुट में वासिफ अंसारी, असलम अंसारी, मुकेश गोंबर और रवि पाटोदिया जैसे नाम अध्यक्ष या उपाध्यक्ष पद के संभावित दावेदारों में शामिल हैं। साथ ही, वर्तमान इंटरिम चेयरमैन कुलदीप वॉटल के भी चुनाव मैदान में उतरने की संभावना मानी जा रही है।अब सबकी निगाहें इस बात पर टिकी हैं कि पूर्व चेयरमैन महावीर शर्मा चुनाव लड़ेंगे या नहीं। नए नियमों के तहत चेयरमैन पद के प्रत्याशी के लिए न्यूनतम टर्नओवर योग्यता का प्रावधान किया गया है। ऐसे में यह देखना दिलचस्प रहेगा कि 18 सदस्यों में से कौन इस शर्त पर खरा उतरता है।इस बार मतदाता सूची में भी बड़ी कटौती की गई है। कई नाम जीरो एक्सपोर्ट होने के कारण हटा दिए गए हैं बहुत से निर्यातकों द्वारा समय ऑडिटेड बैलेंस शीट नहीं जमा करना भी एक कारण है , जिससे मतदाताओं की संख्या घटकर एक हजार से भी कम रह गई है। मतदाता संख्या में कमी के चलते एक-एक वोट का महत्व पहले से कहीं अधिक बढ़ गया है पिछले चुनाव में 1746 मतदाता थे वहीं इस चुनाव में 949 मतदाता है
