*Mirzapur Bhadohi carpet Exporters demand 10% Incentive on Jute Rugs Export bhadohi Mirzapur: A delegation of exporters and industrialists from Mirzapur and bhadohi met with BJP National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP, Arun Singh, to submitt a memorandum seeking a 10% incentive on the export of jute rugs.
A joint memorandum given by Sanjay Gupta, Vikram Jain, Ankur Mishra, Abhay Mishra, Dr. Nihal Khan, Sonu Jain, Amitabh Pathak, Vijay Kumar, and Vikas Jain.The memorandum highlighted the potential of jute-based products to boost agricultural and industrial growth in the region.
It stated that jute rugs are an agricultural-based product and providing incentives would benefit farmers and industrialists.The exporters demanded a 10% incentive to promote jute rug exports, enabling India to strengthen its position in the global market.
They emphasized that this would improve the economic condition of farmers and create new employment opportunities in Mirzapur, Bhadohi, Varanasi, and surrounding areas.Arun Singh assured the delegation that he would take up the issue with the Union Agriculture and Commerce Ministries, supporting the exporters’ demand. He noted that increasing jute product exports would improve farmers’ economic conditions and generate employment opportunities.
The meeting has sparked hope among Mirzapur’s industrialists and exporters, who expressed gratitude to Arun Singh and hoped for a positive decision from the government.
