The results of the Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC) Elections 2025 have been declared, revealing a fiercely contested battle among candidates from Purvanchal to northern India.In the race for the Chairperson’s post, Mukesh Kumar Gombar secured 490 votes, clinching victory by a margin of 85 votes, while Kuldeep Raj Watta received 405 votes.Tough Contest for Vice Chairperson, Aslam Mahboob WinsThe Vice Chairperson’s election also witnessed a close fight between two strong contenders.Aslam Mahboob emerged victorious with 467 votes, whereas Sanjay Kumar Gupta secured 430 votes, giving Mahboob a winning margin of 37 votes.Both key positions were won by candidates supported by the Wasif group, further strengthening its hold in the council.
