Carpet Expo – 2 day 180 buyers from 35 countries and their 121 representatives registered
Bhadohi- 16 oct The India Carpet Expo being held for the first time is yielding very good results, attracting a large number of international foreign carpet buyers, agents, architects etc. By the second day of the 43rd India Carpet Expo rganized by the Carpet Export Promotion Council,
about 180 foreign carpet buyers from about 35 countries and their representatives in number 121 registered themselves in the India Carpet Expo.
India Carpet Expo is one of the largest handmade carpet fairs in Asia, providing a unique platform for buyers to get the best handmade carpets and other floor coverings under one roof. It has become a popular destination around the world on handmade rugs. India’s unique
capability in adapting any type of design, colour, quality and size as per the specifications of the carpet buyers has made it a household name in the international market.
The industry uses diverse raw materials from various ports of India such as wool, silk, man-made fibers, jute, cotton and various blends of different yarns. This industry has great potential for growth in both production and exports, today it has received a good response from overseas purchases
