CEPC – Umar Hameed has take over the charge of the chairman
New Delhi -Umar Hameed has taken over the office of the Chairman of the Carpet Export Promotion Council today. Umar Hameed was the 2Vice President of the Council, Yesterday the Textiles Ministry had issued a letter under Article 75 of the Council, directing the outgoing chairman Siddhanath Singh to pay the charge. Today the two-year term of Siddhanth Singh was being completed.
As per the directive of O/o. the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts),Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, Shri Umer Hameed, 2nd Vice-Chairman, CEPC has taken over as Chairman, at CEPC’s Head Office at New Delhi in the august presence of Shri Mahavir Pratap Sharma, Past Chairman, CEPC, Shri Gulam Nabi Bhat, Shri Sanjay Gupta, Shri Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad, Shri Satish Wattal, Members COA, CEPC, Shri Man Singh Saini, Shri Ehsan Mirza, Member-Exporters, Shri Sanjay Kumar, Executive Director, CEPC, Shri Shiv Kumar Gupta, Former Executive Director, CEPC, Shri Vikas Malhotra, Member-Exporter.
The new Chairman assured Members for all kind of supports for the overall growth of Carpet Sector. He said equal support will be provided to all the carpet clusters.
