Our Members were in great confusion how it will work, out people can do it or not. Shri Sanjay Kumar, Executive Director mentioned that inspite of all the confusion and adversity, we in the Council with the support of
Chairman and all Committee Members decided to organize VirtualExhibition and result is before every one. He further requested theMembers to get registered as Authorized User of GI. Govt. of India is planning to extend extra incentives for authorized users of GI.Presently we have 7 GIs in Carpet Sector and we have submitted proposal for 10 more products.
Chairman, CEPC mentioned that Council is going to organize similar
exhibition in the end of Sept. Chairman requested Members to start their preparation in advance for the next fair.

Professor NIFT. Chennai.
6. Ms. Bindoo Ranjan, Centre Head, NID, New Delhi.
Shri Sanjay Kumar, Executive Director, CEPC informed that Council
received nominations from only 18 Companies with 37 designs in the
given time.
Shri Sunil Sethi in his address mentioned that we Jury Members tried
our best in the short span of time given to us but awards were
finalized with the consensus of all Jury Members.

Shri Rajni Kant informed Members about the importance of
Handicrafts and Carpet Sector and thrust of our Hon’ble Prime
Minister to strengthen this sector. He says that all the benefit of this
fair will go to weavers and artisans only.

 M/s Gallery, Bhadohi – First Price
4. Design Award for Best Traditional Carpet
 M/s Noor Carpet Company
5. Design Award for Best Aesthetic Stall –
 M/s Hazara Arts, Srinagar.
All the participants were very happy and conveyed their thanks to the
Chairman, CEPC, Committee Members and whole team of CEPC.

Shri Sanjay Kumar, Executive Director, CEPC acknowledge the
support and guidance of Shri Umesh Gupta ji, Senior Most Committee
Members for success of the Virtual Expo to whom he approached
even in odd hours when Chairman, CEPC was fighting with the
Corona.

Chairman, CEPC further conveyed thanks to all Jury Members, his
colleagues in the Committee of Administration for their support, Shri
Sanjay Kumar, Executive Director, CEPC and all Officials & Staff for
their untiring and hard work for giving real shape to his ideas and
vision, Shri Sooraj Dhawan of M/s Falcon Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd. and his
entire team for providing 24X7 technical support to all participants.
Shri Umer Hameed, 2nd Vice-Chairman, CEPC conveyed formal vote of
thanks on behalf of the Carpet Export Promotion Council. Shri
Hameed conveyed thanks to to all Jury Members, Chairman, CEPC,
his colleagues in the Committee of Administration for their support,
