CEPC approved new election rules in the EGM

New delhi as per directives from the Government of India, CEPC convened the Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) on Monday, the 19th August, 2019 New Delhi.

Chairman Cepc Siddh Nath Singh informed that General Body approved the amendment related to Election of 1st Vice-Chairman, CEPC. Now for contesting as 1st Vice-Chairman – Members are required to contest firstly as COA Members and then the COA Members of the Region from which the term of Chairman is due will contest for the post of 1st Vice-Chairman.

Chairman, CEPC and all Members of the COA CEPC conveyed thanks to the Member-Exporters for their support and cooperation in approving all the amendments proposed by the Council.

Sh. Sanjay Kumar Executive Director CEPC further informed that Council will now sent the proposals of amendment to the DC(Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India for their approval and then will obtain approval from the Registrar of Companies. After completing the approval process the Committee of Administration will decide and announce the Elections.The meeting was chaired by Shri Siddh Nath Singh, Chairman, CEPC.

The meeting was attended by 52 Members including – Shri Umer Hameed, 2nd Vice-Chairman, Committee Members – Shri Umesh Kumar Gupta, Shri Abdul Rub, Shri Rajendra Prashad Mishra, Shri Onkar Nath Mishra, Shri Feroze Waziri, Shri Husain Jafar Husaini, Shri Mohd. Wasif Ansari, Shri Sanjay Kumar Gupta, Shri Shree Ram Maurya, Shri Satish Wattal, Shri Bodh Raj Malhotra, Shri Sandeep Kataria.
